APSCW condemns Kimin, Daporijo murders

ITANAGAR, MAY 21:

The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has vehemently condemned the murder of Alef Basumatary whose burnt dead body was found at Kimin, on May 16 last.

The APSCW in a release today said its Chairperson Radhilu Chai Techi and Member Likha Joya along with Member Secretary Yame Higio have also met SP Capital Tumme Amo and the alleged accused to discuss about the case.

The Commission also expressed its deep sadness and anguish on the triple murder case of Daporijo. It urged the investigation teams to expedite the case investigation and called for early submission of charge sheet for both the murder cases, so that justice may be delivered to the victims and their families.

Further, the Commission also requested the public concerned to co-operate with the police for smooth investigation of the cases.
