ABSU extends relief to fire victims

PASIGHAT, JUN 19:

While showing solidarity and standing by the side of a family of recent fire victim of Kelek village in Bogong Banggo circle, the All Bogong Students Union (ABSU) here led by President, Oni Dai and General Secretary, Siang Moyong distributed relief materials of household items to one Tobing Moyong on Tuesday.

The house of Tobing Moyong was gutted down on Thursday morning at around 11 AM on June 13 where no household items could be saved and a pig and a dog was also killed though there was no any human casualty, informed ABSU Chief Editor, Jawahar Moyong and Asst. Editor, Milo Minong Rukbo. As per ABSU team, the cause of the fire was said to be due to wielding works for new house construction.

The team ABSU met the family members of Tobing Moyong today and handed over the household relief items like buckets, mugs, plate and others worth Rs 17,000, informed Jawahar Moyong.
